EPHRATA, Pa. (WGAL) -- If you're driving on Route 222 south in Lancaster County, you might notice something wrong with one of the road signs. (видео можно глянуть тут).

 

A viewer spotted the sign for the town of Ephrata... unfortunately the sign spells it "Epharta." (юмор в том, что название городка звучит как  другое не очень приличное слово).

 

The sign is at mile 43 between Reading and Ephrata.

 

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says the error was made in its sign shop and no one caught it. It will cost between $800 and $1,200 to fix.

На Гуглокарте можно посмотреть этот знак (введите вот эти координаты - 40.189627,-76.125218 и посмотрите на юг) - в 2011 когда снималось то знак выглядел правильно :)
